You're In Brookelynn: Nothing Short of Thankful

Nothing Short of Thankful

Nothing Short of Thankful by The Avett Brothers on Grooveshark

Spring is here, and I'm so happy about it! (I know, I know...I should stop talking about the weather. But I'm not going to. So suck it.) I don't know why, but it seriously makes me so happy to walk around without a jacket on. Walking to work today, I noticed the grass was getting a little greener, and little plants were sprouting! I even bought a little plant of my own for my window sill, and have been remembering to water it every day! (I am terrible at keeping plants alive.)

So if you are wondering (which you probably aren't), yes, I am at a baseball field in these pictures. I drive by it all the time, and for some reason, it looked inciting. It was super nice and quiet, apart from a few people walking their dogs. I love nice, quiet places on nice spring days :)
Outfit Details:
Sweater: Old Navy, Dress: Thrifted, Belt: Old
Bag: Target, Shoes: Converse, Necklace: Forever 21
This was one of those dresses that I knew I had to have, because it was super cheap and it's the perfect summer staple. It's a tad to big though, so I had to keep yanking the top up (it's strapless) so my goodies wouldn't show to all the kids playing at the park next door.

Random side note: I need some suggestions! I am working on a dance piece with a couple of girls from my ballet class, incorporating the four seasons, and I am in charge of Spring! I need some help choosing a song though; I have a few ideas, but none that I'm too excited about yet. Here's where you come in: when you think of spring, what song do you think of? (Keep in mind, this will be a contemporary/lyrical dance with a little bit of jazz thrown in.) Thanks :)

I hope you all have a lovely Monday! I've got some great DIY posts planned for this week, so stay tuned! :)
