A big change, indeed. Yes, I chopped off all of my hair. It was kind of a spontaneous decision, but I think it kind of sheds light on the bigger picture. I am starting classes again in a few weeks, and it made me realize that last year, I kind of blended into the background. I hardly made any friends or talked to anyone in my classes. Hardly anyone here knows who I am. So I decided that this year, I am going to change that. I can sculpt myself into a totally new person. A person who isn't so self conscious, a person who doesn't worry so much, a person who is motivated and passionate, and of course, a person who can rock a bleach blonde pixie cut :)  

Art finds her own perfection within, and not outside of, herself. She is not to be judged by any external standard of resemblance. She is a veil, rather than a mirror. She has flowers that no forests know of, birds that no woodland possesses. She makes and unmakes many worlds, and can draw the moon from heaven with a scarlet thread.
