This dress. Swoon. I stopped into one of my favorite little shops in DeKalb, Cracker Jax, to buy a Mother's Day card on Saturday, but it wasn't enough for a minimum purchase on my card. Now, I've seen this dress hanging up the last few times I've been in there, and I've been in love with it ever since I saw it. So what did I do to meet my $5 limit to buy the card with my debit card? Buy this way-over-$5 dress. But it's fabulous so I guess it's okay :)
I wore this to church on Mother's Day (the first time I've been in my church in foreverrr. I'm not super religious, but my mom is, so of course I let her have her way with me on Mother's Day) and I got some of the weirdest looks. I wish it was more normal to wear clothes like this every day. I wanted to yell "bitch, you wish you looked this fabulous!" at everyone giving we the 'wtf' eyes, haha. I had to refrain, though, since I was in church and I didn't want to be smited or anything like that.
Dress: Vintage, Shoes: Thrifted
So, as I was taking these pictures, there was a cute little nest of baby birds about 10 feet away from me. Well, it was cute until the Mother bird decided I must have been a threat or predator or something, because the whole time I was taking these pictures, this damn bird was swooping back and forth over my head, cawing like effing crazy. Ah, nature.
I hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday! I'm officially moved back into my parent's house (from my college apartment) and will be working on putting my bedroom back together for the rest of the week. Hopefully your week will be more exciting than mine, haha!
Also, thanks to all the new followers from the blog hop! Pleased 'ta have 'ya :)
