Yeah. It's snowing. Remember what I said about wanting spring in my last outfit post? Yeah I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon. And NIU had the audacity to keep school open. Naturally, I didn't go to my morning classes, because obviously this weather lends itself to snuggling up in a blanket and watching Netflix. When I first saw it was snowing, it was snowing all light and pretty, and I was like "oh that would look so pretty for an outfit post!" But then I started walking, and the snow started picking up like crazy. Like, holy shit, I couldn't even lift my head up in fear that I would be blinded by snowflakes in my eyeballs. But I did manage to snap a few photos before I couldn't take it anymore :)
If you weren't already aware, converse are the worst shoes to wear in the snow. But they matched with the plaid so perfectly that I couldn't not wear them!
After getting home from taking these photos I promptly took all of this off and put on some leggings and one of Skylar's old sweaters and didn't leave the house again, haha. Well, I had to go to one class to turn in a paper, and when I opened the door to leave and got smacked in the face with a gust of snow/couldn't see anything except white, I nearly closed the door and just said "nope." But I had to face it. Boo. *UPDATE* NIU finally did close at 5pm, so I didn't have to go to work. So that was cool.
Well, time to cuddle up in bed and watch a whole season of Doctor Who. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Watching an entire season of Doctor Who is totally acceptable behavior for snow days.
ReplyDeleteI remember when I lived up North I never took my Chucks off so I, too, was cursed with soggy feet!
